Short answer

Both measure how a brand appears in AI answers, with their sources, and sell plans by number of brands, questions and platforms. CrowdReply measures more platforms (up to 7, including Perplexity and Grok), publishes client case studies with figures and gives you a report when you sign up; it also sells comments and posts in communities that its team publishes. AnswerGravity charges in euros with VAT added, measures with Spain as the market and in Spanish, never posts on your behalf and has an agency that does the work at a fixed price. If you need Perplexity today or want someone to post for you, CrowdReply fits better; if you sell in Spain and would rather post yourself, with the relationship disclosed, we do.

Notice: we are an interested party. AnswerGravity sells a product that competes with CrowdReply. To keep this fair we use only what CrowdReply publishes on its own pages, with the date we read it and a link to each source, and we also say where it does better. Prices change: check them on their website before you decide. If you spot an outdated or wrong figure, write to hola@answergravity.com and we will correct it.

The comparison, point by point

CrowdReply's figures come from its pricing page on 30 September 2026, in its currency, and from its plans dialog on 9 September 2026. Ours come from our plans and pricing page.

Where CrowdReply does better

It is worth saying plainly, because these are good reasons to choose it:

  • More platforms. Its Enterprise plan measures 7 platforms, including Perplexity and Grok. We measure 5, and Claude, Perplexity and Grok have no automatic capture yet. If your buyers mostly ask Perplexity, CrowdReply covers it today and we do not.
  • Social proof. It publishes client case studies with figures and has reviews on G2. We have no published case yet; we show the method and a sample report with demonstration data.
  • A result on arrival. Creating an account produces a free report on the spot, and there is a 7-day trial. Our free review is done by a person and takes up to 48 business hours.
  • Managed execution. If you want another company to comment and post in communities for you, do outreach to cited pages or sell you links from a marketplace, CrowdReply offers that. We do not.
  • Built for the English-speaking market. Its website and product are made for the United States and English; if that is your market, it plays at home.

What we do differently

  • Prices in euros and a Spanish invoice. Our prices are published in euros with VAT added, like any Spanish supplier, and we invoice from Spain.
  • Spain as the market in every measurement. Every capture we make uses Spain as the market and Spanish, because it is the only market we measure.
  • We never post in your name. We alert you to the Reddit and Quora conversations Google shows about your category, suggest a draft if you ask and you post it from your own account, saying who you are. It is slower than ordering it, but the relationship with the brand is always visible to the reader.
  • An agency at a fixed price. If you would rather we did it, the AI diagnosis, the sprint and the partnership have a published scope, timeline and price.

How each acts in forums, in their own words

This is the biggest difference and it is worth reading at the source. CrowdReply calls its tasks «Comment», «Comment w/link» and «Post», and its plans dialog gives the credit price of each by plan. When we read its pricing page on 23 August 2026, it explained that those tasks are posted from established accounts in each community. Its Citation Outreach page describes a managed service where you approve the content and the price and pay once the mention is published. Its terms of service say it does not guarantee how long posts stay up, rankings or any specific visibility in AI.

Our model is different: AnswerGravity does not post, vote or create profiles. If a conversation deserves an answer, you write it, post it from your account and disclose your relationship with the brand. Neither model guarantees that an AI will mention you.

Who should choose which

Choose CrowdReply if you need to measure Perplexity or Grok today, you work mostly in English or in the United States, you want another company to post and do outreach for you, or you need to see other clients' cases before buying.

Choose AnswerGravity if you sell in Spain and want to measure in Spanish with Spain as the market, pay in euros with a Spanish invoice, post yourself with the relationship disclosed, or have an agency do the work at a fixed price: the platform, €59/month + VAT, €179/month + VAT and €299/month + VAT, which measures ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Microsoft Copilot every day with Spain as the market and in Spanish, or the agency from €149 + VAT.

Before you decide, ask both the same things: which questions they will measure, on which platforms and in which country, whether you see the original answer and its sources, who posts and under which identity, and what they do not guarantee.

Where these figures come from

The prices, the models per plan, the 7-day trial and the 30-day refund it announces come from its pricing page, checked on 30 September 2026. The brands, questions, credits, the price of each task and the list of platforms we saw in the plans dialog and the model selector of a trial account on 9 September 2026; we did not buy any task. The rest comes from its public pages, checked on 23 August 2026. We have not measured its product against ours: this page compares what each publishes.
