Sources and citations

Every answer, traced to its sources

Which websites the AI platforms cite for your questions, how often, and whether those answers name your brand or your competitors.

How it works

From the source to the action

  1. Gather the sources

The domains each measured answer cites, with the questions they appear in.

  2. Find the gaps

Which sources show up in answers that name your competitors and not you, and which already name you.

  3. Decide what to do

Open the question and its original answer before choosing the next step.

Key features

The websites behind every answer

Every measured answer keeps the addresses it cites. Together they show which sources carry weight in your category.

Domains

The most cited domains

Which sites appear in the answers to your questions, how often and in how many questions, day by day.

Opportunities

The ones that name others and not you

Set apart the sources that appear in answers naming your competitors and not your brand. That is usually where the work is.

Pages

The exact address, with its date

From each domain you reach the cited pages, the questions they appear in and the original answer.

Next step

What you can do with each source

Open the question and its answer before choosing. The work depends on the kind of source:

  • Your website: fix or create the missing page
  • Forums: find the thread in Listening and reply yourself, saying who you are
  • Publishers: the marketplace, with verified prices and terms

  • Competitor analysis

Who appears with you, and where they get ahead.

    Social listening

The Reddit and Quora threads Google shows.

  • Question tracking

Your questions, measured every day, with their history.

    Share of voice

Your share of the mentions against your competitors.

Coverage

Different answers. One place to understand them.

What each platform answers, with its date and sources, in one dashboard.

Grow measures 4 platforms every day: ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity. Scale measures 6: ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot (Spain only) and Perplexity. We measure their responses. Each question is measured from its brand’s country, in that country’s language: Spain, the United States, or Germany. Perplexity is measured through its API with web search, and the others in their web versions. Claude and Grok are measured every week for all your questions, on both plans and outside the daily AI platforms, through their APIs with web search: not their apps or a personalised account. Weekly balances cost and follow-up; their answers can vary between queries. Every answer keeps its date and sources so you can compare under the same conditions.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us most about source analysis.

Can't find your question? Write to us

  • What counts as a source?

Any page the answer cites or links: your website, comparisons, forums, reviews, publishers or Wikipedia. The exact address and the date are saved.

  • Can you get a publisher to cite me?

We don’t promise that. The platform shows you which sources weigh on your questions; what you do with them is your call. The marketplace will include placements with verified prices and terms. What AI cites afterwards is up to no one.

  • What happens automatically?

The plan measures your questions, finds conversations and prioritises next steps. Enable automatic preparation to receive drafts within your monthly allowance. You review and publish. It is paid by card, from $109 a month + applicable taxes, with no minimum term.

  • Do you guarantee I’ll appear in ChatGPT or Gemini?

No. Nobody controls what these systems answer. The platform measures what they answer, with dates and sources, so you can see what changes; it doesn’t promise mentions, positions, traffic or sales.
