Prompts: what your customers ask AI

How to add, import and read your prompts in AnswerGravity: your plan's allowance, mention rate, position, change, search volume and what to do with each row.

Step by step

  1. Check at the top how much of your allowance you use; the allowance is shared across all your brands.
  2. Press “Add prompt” and choose “Create with AI”, “Paste text”, “CSV file” or “Search Console”. Nothing is saved until you confirm the import.
  3. Write each prompt the way a customer would type it, not like a headline, and choose which models to check it on.
  4. Until its first measurement you will see “Not measured”: it is not a zero.
  5. Read each row: “Mentioned?” is the share of answers that name you, “Position” your average place in lists and “Change” the movement in points.
  6. Click a row to open its details, or use the ⋮ menu to “Change country”, “Stop following” or “Archive”.

The other columns

  • Volume: monthly Google searches for the keyword you assign to the prompt, averaged over the last 12 months.
  • Brands: the competitors the answers name.
  • Location: the country the prompt is measured from.
  • Type: Branded when the prompt names your brand, Competitor when it names a competitor and Commercial when it names none.

Allowance, stopping and archiving

Active prompts per plan: Starter 20, Growth 75 and Enterprise 200. “Stop following” stops measuring a prompt and keeps what was measured; “Archive” moves it to “Archived” with its history. Reactivating it takes a slot again. “Export CSV” downloads every row that matches your filters.
