We measure what a real customer sees
We open the free versions of ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Google, logged out, in a real browser. Why that is fair and why your own search may differ.
Step by step
- Open a prompt and read a saved answer: the full text, the platform, the date and its sources.
- To compare it, search the same thing in a private window, logged out and from the same country.
- Before drawing conclusions, look at the 7, 30 or 90-day period, not a single day.
What we open
We open the free versions of ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Google in a real browser, from your brand's country, and save the full answer with its sources. We don't use a lab API, which can answer differently from what people see.
How we measure each platform
Each question is measured from its brand’s country, in that country’s language: Spain, the United States, or Germany. Microsoft Copilot is measured in Spain only.
- ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Google AI Mode: their free web version, in a real browser, logged out.
- Google AI Overviews: the summary on Google's results page, as anyone searching sees it.
- Perplexity and Claude: their official API, with web search.
Why the comparison is fair
No account, no history and no personalisation: every business starts from the same point, which is what makes it fair to compare them.
We don't claim every person sees exactly the same thing. It is the same starting point for everyone, not personalised, and you can open every saved answer.
Why you may see something different
If you search from your own account you may see a different answer: the AI can take your history, your location and your settings into account. Answers also change from day to day, so we measure every day and show you 7, 30 and 90-day periods, not a single day.
